Truffle Pig Film is an Australian production company founded by Daniel Pollock in 2024. With a primary focus on Australian auteur-driven genre films with an international vision, Truffle Pig Projects have been described as the forefront of the “New Australian Gothic” movement, as OUTLINED IN PROMINENT DUTCH CINEMA PUBLICATION FILMKRANT.
The debut feature from Truffle Pig, SALT ALONG THE TONGUE, was acquired by Yellow Veil Pictures for worldwide sales and released on Shudder after a successful festival run in 2025, and followed up by boarding A GRAND MOCKERY as Executive Producers, which won awards globally including the Nouves Visions Best Director Award at the Sitges International Film Festival.
In 2026, Truffle Pig Films significantly expanded their operations, announcing an exciting slate of films beginning with the launch of PHILLIP PHILADELPHIA (MIFF 2026).

Daniel Pollock is an award-winning producer and founder of Australian production company Truffle Pig Films. His debut short film, Audio Guide, won Best Screenplay and Audience Choice at the 2020 St Kilda Film Festival, and his other work has been shown as part of TEDx Sydney, Flickerfest, SXSW Sydney and FrightFest UK. His debut feature film, Parish Malfitano’s Salt Along the Tongue, premiered at SXSW Sydney in 2024 and was acquired by Yellow Veil Pictures, before playing at festivals all over the world in 2025. In the documentary realm, Daniel has worked closely with multimedia nonfiction group RubberAmmo, culminating in 2022 with a series of short documentaries exploring the ongoing Ukrainian war.
